Executive Summary is called the most important part of dissertation or Internship report.

It summarizes an internship report in such a way that readers/examiners can rapidly become acquainted with a large body of material without having to read it all.

Executive summary must be given in paragraph format.

The elements of the Executive summary are:

01. Introductory Part of the Report: This paragraph must give a brief of the report such as title, objectives, supervisor, methodology etc.

02. Chapterization of the report: Brief of every chapter of the report must be mentioned in this paragraph.

03. Summary of Findings: This is the vital part of the executive summary. An abstract of the findings of the study should be given here.

04. Summary of Recommendations: The recommendations of the study based on the findings should be given in this paragraph.

Executive Summary

The internship report on Credit Management in Banks: A Look from NCC Bank Limited as required by the Supervisor ( ------Name ---), ---- Designation -----, Department of Business Administration, ------ University --. The objectives of the study are to study & to analyze the credit management, to identify the problems of credit management & to recommend policies to overcome the problems of NCC Bank Ltd. Both primary & secondary data are used to prepare this report.


This report is divided into five chapters. The first chapter of this study deals with introduction that presents the objectives, Methodology, Scope of limitation of the study. In order to understand the Banks on which the study is carried on, the second chapter of the study deals with some theoretical concept about Profile of NCC Bank Limited. The third chapter is about the conceptual framework of credit management activities of NCC Bank. The fourth chapter is about the different types of analysis and findings on evaluation on investment & credit management activities. The fifth chapter is about conclusions and recommendations which are drawn by analysis of whole study.


The main findings of the study are as follows: NCCBL credit policy is very restrictive, the bank has little concern about advertising process, the bank has no written lending guidelines, loan sanctioning process is lengthy etc.


Some recommendation of the study are: credit policy should be moderate, the bank should be concentrate about advertising process, the bank should maintain written lending guidelines, the bank should maintain quick loan sanctioning process.
