After releasing photos of 7 millitants, police requested citizens to identify them. 

Police have released photos of the seven suspected militants killed at Noagaon Patartek in Gazipur and requested citizens to come up with their real identities.

The photographs released last night show the deceased – all are youths -- were on civil clothes during the Saturday’s shootout.

“It is very important to know about their real identities for the sake of investigation,” reads an announcement on the Dhaka Metropolitan Police news website.

The law enforcers requested people to provide information about the dead militants through Facebook inbox or Hello CT mobile app or contact with Gazipur police, the DMP announcement reads.
